Managing Director and shareholder of Lambent Capital (LC) a Pakistani national, a seasoned professional in the field of banking, finance and business management. Started his banking career in the year 1975 with BCCI Group and has been engaged in banking business in UAE and in GCC for about four decades. Following his long association of about 18 years with BCC Group, he joined a local commercial bank in the year 1994 in senior managerial position at Abu Dhabi.
Delivered dedicated services until 2013 in a span of about 20 years of association with the bank. He retired from services of the bank in the end of year 2013. He carries vast banking experience and sound knowledge mainly in the fields of marketing, business & corporate banking, international trade and project financing, credit appraisal, loan syndication, correspondent banking, general banking, finance and management. During his banking career held various senior managerial positions in the banks with whom he was associated. He was also a well performing and effective internal trainer and facilitator while imparting banking and finance training to different seniority level staff in banks he worked with. He has been successfully managing a multitude of corporate relationships for various corporate entities and financial institutions while in active service with the bank. He has always been acknowledged as a strong performer and prominent contributor in achieving his unit’s business goal in particular and bank’s objectives in general. Being a non-Arab his proficiency of spoken Arabic and working understanding of the language has always been an added advantage in building clients’ relationship and meeting client’s needs.

Under his leadership Corporate Banking Group (CBG) – Dubai of a local bank achieved highest profit contribution and grew its assets to number one position among all units of the bank. His team bagged all top awards; Dream team, April wolf and March Warrior in business campaign organized and managed by Mckinsey & Company in the first 4 months of 2014. The unit’s assets grew by over three fold during 10 years 2003-2013 with the least NPL among all units of the bank during 10 years of his leadership. He also transformed commercial banking into a successful pilot Corporate Banking Group Dubai unit in 2003
